July's Yard of The Month is…
632 Downing!!
The owner is a proud founding member of the Richardson Heights Neighborhood Association and enjoys spending time in his yard, even during the hot days of July. The yard is full of plenty of hardy Texas native plants that up until recently have required very little watering this summer. There is a fun mix of plants in both the front and back yard, with some of the purchased seeds coming all the way from Rome! 632 Downing has received a $25 gift card to Bruce Miller, congratulations!

After losing a 70-year old elm in a storm, which many neighbors can relate to, the homeowner transformed the once shady front yard into a sun-filled oasis with many types of Texas native perennials. She has a dedicated spot for colorful annuals, and her front yard retained a small shaded section, which she fills purposefully with additional plants, creating a great mix of colors and borders throughout the yard. 621 Scottsdate has received a $25 gift card to Bruce Miller to help keep up the hard work. May's Yard of The Month is…
800 Nottingham!!
May is the perfect month to showcase this yard because it is currently in FULL bloom with native Texas plantings that take over the majority of the lawn area. This makes it a haven for pollinators in the area and cuts down on watering needs. The side yard also includes some raised beds in metal planters. The homeowners have been gifted a $25 gift certificate to Bruce Miller Nursery. Congratulations!
April's Yard of The Month is…
723 Sherwood!!
The owners of this home have focused on planting heat resistant, native Texas plants, including a pretty “Weeping Redbud” in the front bed. Lucky for their neighbors, they continue to decorate the yard for the holidays even though their own kids are grown.
